What do you mean by "leader"?

A leader is anyone who has influence over others, intentionally moving them towards a common goal.  Do you have influence over others?  Are you empowering them and moving them towards a common goal?  Then, you are a leader.  Leaders are a diverse group.  If you are leading as a CXO, a business owner, a board member, a manager, a funder, a networker, a pastor or spiritual leader, and so on, you are welcome to attend a Conversations in the Vineyard.  We customize our retreats to create cohorts of like-minded, similarly situated leaders.

What do you mean by "influencer"?

Influencers are people who may not have specific leadership titles but do have influence over others.  

What happens after I send in an Inquiry?

Once you submit an Inquiry, we will respond by email to you with more questions that will help us customize your retreat experience.  Once we settle on the best retreat for you, we will send you a link for registration and payment.

How much does a Conversations in the Vineyard retreat cost?

The cost varies depending on the type of retreat chosen and customized elements including experiences and menus.  Please Inquire here to begin the conversation.

What is included in the cost of the retreat?

All retreats include our time and retreat materials. Additionally, depending on the type of retreat you choose, we will work together to customize what is included in the cost of the retreat. Customized retreats could include food, wine, and local transportation.

What is not included in the cost of the retreat?

We will recommend and hold room blocks at appropriate lodging venues, but participants will pay their own hotel costs as well as any travel expenses necessary to arrive at the venue.  

Will we stay at the same hotel with the other participants?

Ideally, yes.  We will work with each group to find the best location.  We have many options, including hotels, bed and breakfasts, and estates in the vineyard.

What content will be covered?

Drawing from over 40 different metaphors, we will work to customize the content for each retreat.  Integrated into each session are leadership principles gleaned from the vineyard and wine making.  Each retreat will engage with the principles on a broadly personal, relational or corporate level. 

What types of leadership principles do you include in the content?

Not all principles will be covered in depth at any given retreat.  We will customize your retreat to include appropriate principles according to the season and the needs of your team. Most retreats will start with principles of Leadership Sustainability and move to metaphors arising in the vineyard during the season of the retreat.

What if I have special dietary restrictions?

We respect all dietary restrictions and our chefs will do their best to accommodate all special requests.

What if I don’t (or can’t) drink wine?

That’s okay!  You’ll still be refreshed.  Just being in the vineyard, eating wonderful food and enjoying great conversations about leadership will be a beautiful experience.

Can you bring the Conversations in the Vineyard leadership material to an on-site retreat?
